Walks in the Vale of Clwyd

This extended third edition now offers twenty six circular walks exploring the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, nestling between the Clwydian Range and gently rolling hills to the west.  In addition to its splendid scenery, the Vale contains a wealth of ancient and medieval sites, buildings and other treasures. These include Iron-Age settlements, Norman castles, the smallest cathedral in England and Wales, ancient churches, holy wells, and many fine houses of historical or architectural interest.

The walks visit many of these places of interest, as well as old country inns. There are walks beside peaceful rivers, through little known wooded valleys, over lush pastures and low hills, and around the historic market towns of Denbigh, Ruthin and St. Asaph.
